In our Life Science Chemistry services unit, we provide a broad range of purification and compound characterization methods. The separation technology lab offers chiral and achiral analyses and separations on a mg to kg scale, with HPLC systems and supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) using CO2. Our advanced characterization portfolio offers custom-tailored solutions for your problems. All measurements are under one roof, with state-of-the-art instrumentation, data handling, and reporting to customers.

We offer purification, qualification, and validation of compounds as part of larger client projects or as stand-alone services. Structure elucidation of unknown products or metabolites is another important offering for a broad range of molecules (e.g., in collaboration with our microbiological chemistry unit on our metabolite discovery platform.

Our modern separation technology lab (STL) offers different separation techniques, including chiral or achiral separations under basic or acidic conditions and purification of larger batches.

These services can be provided rapidly due to our state-of-the-art IT infrastructure (e.g., LIMS with several interfaces), which optimizes turnover times. Our paper-free workflows allow for highly secure data exchange and data handling across all laboratories.

Our analytical service unit offers NMR, MS, optical methods, and structure elucidation services. With five NMR spectrometers (400 MHz, 500 MHz, and 600 MHz) and cryoprobe, sample jets, and sample organizers, we offer quick services and further analytical investigations. Our mass spectrometry and optical laboratories provide quick results for larger client projects or as stand-alone services. In addition, our high-resolution capabilities (resolutions up to 30.000X) mean we achieve fast quality checks for high-throughput screening.

Our analytics department, together with structural biology and screening, offers NMR-based fragment screens using our in-house fragment library.
